Obituary for Thomas Wilson Boyd

T. W. Boyd, who died last Wednesday night at 8 o'clock at his home on East Loula Street, was born in Guernsey county, Ohio, May 17, 1830. In 1851 he was married to Miss Mary A. Meyers and to this union were born six children. They are David W., of Los Angeles, Cali fornia; Samuel E., Eagle City, Okla homa; Mrs. Margaret Boyd Felten berger, Oakwood, Oklahoma; J. O., deceased; Albert H., Uberry, Oregon, and Mrs. Frank Hutton, Oakwood, Oklahoma. His wife died in 1876. In 1882 he was married to Miss Louisa Huston and to this union was born one child, Edna Boyd Lawson, who lives east of Olathe. Mr. Boyd was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and the funeral service was held this church Friday afternoon, February 23. The Grand Army Post of which he was a member, attended body. "Uncle Tommy," as he was lovingly called by his many friends, was a good man and true. He lived a long, useful life and his memory will not soon be forgotten.
