Obituary for James Black

At his home in Olathe Township, on Tuesday, November 21st, 1876, after a short illness, of hemorrhage of the bowels, James Black, aged 62 years. 

The deceased was born in Shelby county, Ohio, and has been a resident of JOhnson county; eleven years. 

He was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church, and excellent citizen, and universally respected by the entire community. 

The pall bearers are the funeral, Messrs. A Allison, Matt. Ensey and John Neil were his school mates in Ohio
