Patricia Fikes PeakePatricia Fikes Peake, 75, reached Heaven January 11, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital.
She was born and raised in Akron, Ohio and was a 1956 graduate of North High School. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Past President of V.F.W. Rhine River Post #3618.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Sr. and Ella Mae Fikes; husband, William Peake Sr.; six brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by her devoted loving twin, Patrick Fikes; brother, Calvin Fikes of Akron, Ohio; sister, Connie Fikes-Marsh of Mason, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Connie (Winston) McHargh, Brenda (Richard) Gordon, Michelle Peake, all of Akron, Ohio and Minnie Fikes of Georgia; daughters, Debi Peake-Gooden and Stephanie Peake; son, William Peake Jr., all of Akron, Ohio; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 327 Cuyahoga St., Akron, OH 44310, where family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service starting at 12 noon, with Pastor Rev. Dr. Luther C. Cooper eulogizing. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 962 Packard Dr., Akron, OH 44320. Special thank you to the extraordinary staff at Select Specialty Hospital
