Obituary for Theodore F, Jr. Preyss
Theodore F. Preyss Jr., 91, of Mentor, passed away Jan. 7, 2014, at Golden Living Center in Kirtland. Born Nov. 21, 1922, in The Bronx, N.Y., he had been a resident of Mentor for 60 years .Mr. Preyss had been employed in advertising sales for ABC .He was a member of the American Legion in Wickliffe, and a B17 machine gun operator in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and a police officer. Survivors are his sons, Kyle (Diane) of Kirtland and Edward of Naples, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Preyss was preceded in death by his wife, Regina (nee Holland); children, Keith and Nancy; parents, Theodore and Anna; and brother, Leonard. Private services will be observed.
