Obituary for Michael Rihaly
Michael Rihaly, 92, of Painesville, passed away Nov. 26, 2013. Born Oct. 24, 1921, in New Salem, Pa., he had been a resident of Willowick for 50 years before moving to Painesville seven years ago. Mr. Rihaly was employed by the Willoughby-Eastlake School System before his retirement. He was a World War II Edson''s Raiders Marine veteran. In 2008, at the age of 87, he was baptized as one of Jehovah''s Witnesses. Survivors are his daughter, Michaela (Charles) Kramp; daughter-in-law, LuAnn; grandchildren, Kevin, Brian and Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Vanessa and Victoria; and siblings, Frank, Andy and Alex. Mr. Rihaly was preceded in death by his wife, Irene (nee Ansell); son, Stephen; and five siblings.
