Obituary for BANDITH SYSAENGLATH

Bandith Sysaenglath, 36, was born August 9, 1977 in Laos, the daughter of Boonlian and Lo Thongkham. She passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013.

Bambee moved to Australia in 1986 where she grew up and graduated from St. John’s Park High School. She attended Sydney University, receiving a degree in marketing. In 2001, she moved to Des Moines and graduated from La’ James International College. Bambee worked as a cosmetologist for various places and was most recently working for Bebe Nails in Altoona.

Bambee enjoyed taking pictures, hosting gatherings, and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Bambee is survived by her daughters Tyleena Sysaenglath, Nathaleeya Sysaenglath, and Sydney Sysaenglath; boyfriend, Thomas Wang; former spouse, Sithon Sysaenglath; father, Boonlian; mother, Lo; love sister and brother, Lana Baccam (Bane Sylavong); love brother and sister, Khampho and Mangvorn Phaviseth; her God parents, Khampheng and Phonethip Cavan; brother-in-law, Doungchanh Chanhthavong, and sisters-in-law, Phonechitch Sengchanh, Thong Leuang, Latsamy Lounglathsamy, and Fong (Noi) Vansylalom. She was preceded in death by her sister, Bouachanh Thongkham.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines.

The family will greet friends Friday evening at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m, with a Buddhist service beginning at 5:00 p.m.
