Obituary for Herman G Stack
HERMAN STACK
CANFIELD-Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel for Herman Stack, 71, who died Tuesday afternoon at Cleveland Clinic.
Herman was born April 16, 1942, the son of the late Steven and Hazel (Davis) Stack.
Mr. Stack worked for the City of Canfield for over 40 years and also worked for the Canfield Fair Maintaince Department since 1980 and was still employed there at his time of passing.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing with his grandson, the Canfield Fair and fireworks during the Fourth of July.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Stack, whom he married in 1979; his three sons, Robert Stack of Louisiana, Scott (Becky) Stack of Boardman and Shawn (Katie) Stack of Canfield; his grandchildren, Ashley (Stack) Tipps and Rebekka Stack, both of Louisiana, Katy (Stack) Ribvera of Oklahoma, Troy Stack of Boardman and baby Gabriella Stack of Canfield on the way; sisters, Luella Byler of Greenford, Shirley Tanner of Lake Milton, Pearl McGuire of Florida and Delores (Bruce Eldridge) Poyser of Youngstown; brothers, Charles (Mary Ann Bates) Stack of Ellsworth and Glenn (Dene Sferna) Stack of Canfield; his sister-in-law, Barbara (Krusely) Stack of Austintown; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Stack; brothers, Donald and Howard Stack; and brother-in-law Joseph Byler.
Friends may call on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, from 2 p.m. until the time of services at 7:30 p.m. at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel.
