Obituary for Joann A Dieter
JOANN A. DIETER
AUSTINTOWN – Joann A. Dieter, 82, departed life Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at Windsor House of Champion.
Joann was born Sept. 27, 1931, in Campbell, to parents Theodore Prassinos and Julia Costy.
Joann was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, Class of 1949.
Joann married Alan T. Dieter on Aug. 23, 1952, and together they had to wonderful sons.
She loved being a homemaker and worked in catering for the Saxon Club in Youngstown. Joann was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Austintown, for over 60 years. She belonged to the Saxon Club Branch 22 and enjoyed bingo, golf, and bowling.
She is survived by her loving husband, Alan; sons Alan Jr. and David (Dee) Dieter, both of Cortland; two grandchildren, Matthew and Alexandra Dieter; and sisters Sylvia (Roy) Bauer of Texas, Connie Swan of Liberty, Susan De Pasquale of Youngstown, and Theodora (David) Ramos of Canfield.
Visitation will be held at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at the Grace Lutheran Church, Austintown.
Interment will be held at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Joann’s memory may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
