Obituary for Lois Larry
Lois Larry, 84, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on October 24, 2013.
She was born in Atlanta, Ga. to Ophelia and Louis Hill Sr. Lois was married to Marion Larry for over 50 years.
Lois was a lifetime member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, where she was a deaconess and also worked on the kitchen committee, which she loved.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Marion Larry; parents, Ophelia and Louis Hill Sr.; granddaughter, Alaysha Larry; and grandson, John Lytle.
Lois is survived by her son, Kenneth (Gloria) Larry; daughters, Marion Louise (Jimmy) Cameron of Atlanta, Ga., Vicki Lytle, Faye Larry and Jennifer Larry; brothers, Louis Hill Jr. and David Hill; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and a devoted an loving nephew, Bruce Atkinson.
The family would like to thank Davita Dialysis Center, Nurses Kelly, Tara and Lori and Dr. Phinney, and the nursing staff at Arbor at Fairlawn Nursing Facility.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 442 Bell St., with Rev. Jeffrey A. Dennis officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment at Mount Peace Cemetery.
