Obituary for Viola Stalnacker

CAMPBELL – Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Szabo & Sons Funeral Home for Viola (Such) Stalnacker, 93, who passed away Thursday evening at Guardian Healthcare.

Viola was born on March 29, 1920, in Youngstown, a daughter of Louis and Velma Toth Such.

Viola was a lifelong resident of Campbell, a homemaker, a member of the Rockview Christian Church, formerly the American Hungarian Reformed Church, past president of the Hungarian Club in Campbell and a member of the Saxon Club.

She married Elmer Stalnacker Sr. in November of 1941 and he passed away on Oct. 18, 1995.

She is survived by two sons, Elmer Stalnacker Jr. of Campbell and Ernie Stalnacker of Campbell; five grandchildren, Michelle, Tina, Jay, Teddy and Robert; four great-grandchildren, Brittnay, Robert Jr., Aspen and Dominic; a sister-in-law, Pauline Such of Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Olga Rendes, Leona Such and Lillian Trella; four brothers, William, Ernie, Andrew and Edward Such; and one great-granddaughter, Madison.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Stalnacker family would like to thank Windsor House and Crossroads Hospice of Northeast Ohio for their care and support of Viola.

Interment will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens
