Obituary for Alice P. Corbin
Mass of Christian Burial for Alice Corbin, 82, will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville. Alice was born on July 19, 1931, in Fall River, Mass., to Achille and Yvonne (Boucher) Paradise. She was a resident of Painesville for 46 years.She passed away on Oct. 11, 2013, at her residence in PainesvilleShe was a seamstress for the former Gary-Allen Sportswear Co., in Painesville.Alice was a member of St. Mary Church. She enjoyed preparing special Sunday dinners for her family.She is survived by husband, Armand Corbin, whom she married on Aug. 6, 1949; son, Glenn Corbin of Mentor, daughters, Denise (Tom) Pallant of Linesville, Pa., Susan Brown of Andover; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildrenShe was preceded in death by her parents.Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral hom .Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
