Obituary for Paul D Parks

YOUNGSTOWN – Mr. Paul D. Parks, 62, passed away Aug. 23, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Health Center. A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the Green Haven Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Parks was born Jan. 28, 1951, in Johnstown, Pa., to the late Paul and Helen Parks.

Paul was the owner and operator of P&J auto sales. He enjoyed going to car auctions, car shows and restoring his daughter’s 1982 Chevy Camaro. There was no greater joy to Paul, however, than watching Ashlyn play school sports, Christian showing her horses, or his love to help out with the Mahoning County 4-H Horse Shows.

Mr. Parks, was preceded in death by father, Robert Parks; mother, Helen Parks; brothers, Robert and Richard Parks; and his son, Paul R. Parks.

He leaves to cherish his memories, three beautiful daughters, Melissa Rupert, Christian and Ashlyn Parks; two adoring grandchildren, Krista Rupert and Paul Scott; his devoted and best friend, George Bruss; two rescue dogs, Chico and Maddy; and also a host of other loving family members and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
