Obituary for Lena Baker
Lena M. (Jones) Baker, 85, of Huntsburg, formerly of Chardon and Eastlake, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2013 at Blossom Hill Care Center in Huntsburg. She was born Aug. 3, 1928 in Hendersonville, Va. Mrs. Baker had worked as a lab technician for over 30 years at GE''s Nela Park plant. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. Survivors include her son David (Cynthia) Baker; grandchildren Lisa Baker, Heather Baker, David Baker Jr, Michael (Miranda) Baker, Traci (Warren) Wakefield, Erin (Mark) Reilly and Scott Santee; 13 great grandchildren; sisters Jean Conway and Tonia Kohler; brothers Luther (Layunna) Jones and Herman "Bill" (Jodi) Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles; daughter Mikki Charlene Abrams; granddaughter Melissa Jane Young; sister Shirley Parlier; parents Herman and Leola Jones and brothers in law Earl Conway and Ken Kohler. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland.
