We''ll miss..." - Dennis & Carmen Stray View Sign Graveside services and interment for Joseph Henry Duncan, 65, of Eastlake, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Mr. Duncan passed away Monday, Aug. 26, 2013 at his home. Born Sept. 10, 1947 in Washington, Pa., he lived in Cleveland before moving to Eastlake 35 years ago. He was a member of Collinwood Lodge 582 Free and Accepted Masons, where he was a 32nd degree Mason and served as Worshipful Master in 2002, and the former Moose Lodge in Eastlake. He was also an avid sports fan (Go Browns) and participant in all kinds of sports, especially darts, fishing, volleyball, racquetball and softball. He loved music and karaoke, rode in nine 150 mile bicycle tours for the MS Society and carried a 200 average in bowling. He also loved his pets, Cindy Taylor and Jack Sparrow. Mr. Duncan was employed as an electrician at Park Drop Forge (Park Ohio) in Cleveland, retiring in 2009 after 42 years of service. Survivors are his wife of 26 years, Dixie Lee (Smalley); children, Kelly (Clarence) Taylor, Roxanna Marie (George) Webster, Jennifer (Anthony) Alimo, Joseph Henry Duncan, Jr., Thomas Michael Nicholson and Andrew Lee Nicholson; 10 grandchildren; one great grandson; and siblings, Joyce (Roy) Stray, Jane Christopher, Jeannette (John) Roble, June (Keith) Wilkerson, Tammy Duncan and Jace Duncan. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Henry and Josephine (Fisher) Duncan; and siblings, Josephine Gray, John Duncan and Jacqueline Philips. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013.
