Obituary for Anna Jean Richardson-Jennings

Anna Jean (Quick) Richardson Jennings, 85, of Melbourne, Fla., formerly of Mentor, died July 7, 2013, in Florida. Mrs. Jennings was born Aug. 11, 1927, in Willoughby. Mrs. Jennings worked in the Mentor Schools as a secretary for 30 years, 20 of those years at Hopkins Elementary School. She had also worked for J. B. Cole Ford in Willoughby. Mrs. Jennings was a member of Mentor Christian Church. Survivors include brother, Phillip (Bobbie) Quick of Mentor; sister, Jane White of Mentor; nieces and nephews, Barb (Bill) Bungard, Harvey (Shelley) White, Linda Hood, Greg (Jeanine) Quick, Cindy (Gary) Johnson, Steve (Cindy) Quick and Perry (Kirsten) Quick; stepson, Rick (Sally) Jennings. She is also survived by loving great and great great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Richardson, Harold Pippard and George Jennings; parents, Gordon and Ethel Quick; and sisters, Bertha Winfield and Martha Babcock. Funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday at in the chapel at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Please meet at the chapel.
