Obituary for Donna M Robinson

DONNA MARIE (TAYLOR) ROBINSON “Together Again” AUSTINTOWN – Donna Marie (Taylor) Robinson, 67, passed away peacefully at her residence on June 18, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Oct. 12, 1945, in New Britain, Conn., the daughter of the late George Albert Taylor and Irene (Klaskawski) Taylor-Piring. Donna attended Hempfield High School in Landisville, Pa. She married the love of her life, James D. Robinson on Oct. 12, 1968, and enjoyed 42 years of marriage. Donna lived in New Britian, moving to Youngstown in 1963, working at the Dog House, where she met James. She also worked at Twin Kiss, Hollander’s Restaurant and The Moo Shop, as a waitress, Strouss-Hirshberg as head sales clerk of the china and better dress departments, the RCA Factory Service as assistant manager and Starky Med Pro for 16 years. She will be dearly missed by her three daughters, Kathy Meade of Austintown, Vicki (Jamie) Mehle of Austintown and Carol “Faith Ann” Yorgey of New Holland, Pa.; a son, James A. of Columbus; a brother, Bobby (Glenna) Piring of Connecticut; sisters-in-law, Karen (Mark) Cline of Wellsville and Carole Bernard of Delaware; and seven grandchildren, Ashley and Amber Meade, Samantha, Kayla, Alexandrea, Jocelyn and Seth Mehle. Besides her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, James, who passed away Dec. 16, 2010; two brothers, Gary and George Taylor; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, James A. and Florence (Honey) Robinson. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 21, 2013, at 7 p.m. at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel. Friends will be received June 21, 2013, from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at the Austintown Chapel. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
