Obituary for Joseph A. Mikonsky
Joseph A. Mikonsky, 95, passed away June 5, 2013, at Blossom Hill Care Center in Huntsburg. Born July 12, 1917, in Cardiff, Pa., he had lived in Wickliffe for 60 years.
Mr. Milonsky was employed by Lubrizol Corporation for 22 years, retiring in 1982. He was a longtime member of Wickliffe Presbyterian Church, served as head usher, as well as on the board of deacons. He was also a member of the Lubrizol Retirees Club.
He is survived by son, Jerome (Marlene); daughter-in-law, Sheila; grandchildren, Kim (Tony) Krznaric, Jerome (Michelle), Dennis (Lori), Timothy and Beth (Pete) Wade; many great-grandchildren; and sisters, Velma Bryja, Irene Orvacze and Dorothy McIntosh.
Joseph was preceded in death by wife, Rhoda in 1999; son, Bruce in 2011; brothers, Michael and John; and sisters, Joann, Elizabeth Billcheck, Margaret Kelaso and Rose Santos.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2013, at Wickliffe Presbyterian Church, 29955 Ridge Road, Wickliffe. (Please meet at church.) Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial is at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
