Obituary for Joseph Dangerfield

JOSEPH NICHOLAS DANGERFIELD POLAND – There will be funeral services on Monday, June 3, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market St. in Boardman for Joseph Nicholas Dangerfield, 82, who died Wednesday morning, May 29, 2013, at Hospice House. Joseph was born Feb. 24, 1931, in Youngstown, the son of the late Raymond and Gertrude M. (Callingwood) Dangerfield. He was a life-long area resident. Joseph was a member of Labors International Union of North America, Local No. 125 for over 50 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church in Youngstown and enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing pool and dancing. Joseph is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Shirley L. Parthemer; two brothers, Tracy Dangerfield of Berlin Center and Richard Dangerfield of Girard; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by two brothers, David J. Dangerfield and Gene Dangerfield.
