Obituary for Michael P. Walsh
Michael P. Walsh, 53, of Madison passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Hospice House in Cleveland. He was born in Stuttgart, Germany, on Oct. 28, 1959.
Michael was a member of Electrical Workers Union Local 270. He worked as a lineman for First Energy Corporation for the past 27 years.
His favorite past times were playing softball and golfing. Also Mike enjoyed watching old westerns. He had volunteered at the Madison Food Bank.
Survivors are his wife, Fay Smithisler Walsh; children, Megan and Jacob Walsh, Matt and Jesse Fiederer; grandchildren, Aiden, Gabriel, Madilyn and Makenna; brother, James (Rae Lynne) Walsh; sisters, Kathleen (Bill) Whitehair, Kelly (Chris) Collins, and Patricia (Erik) Hoenigman; father, Patrick (Betty) Walsh; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Walsh.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013, at The Funeral Home. Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
