Obituary for Neva Crawford

Neva Crawford Neva Crawford, 80, passed away April 17, 2013. She was born on Nov. 6, 1932, in Porterwood, W.VA. On Jan. 25, 1952, she married Burns Crawford. She lived in Willowick and Willoughby Hills before moving to Lebanon, Ohio in 2009 after Burn''s passed away. Neva and Burns spent their winters in Kissimmee, Fla. She volunteered in the community, including Meals on Wheels and the Willowick Senior Center. Her early working years were spent as an Operations Manager at McDonald''s and then retired from Fifth Third Bank as an Assistant Manager in 1996. Survivors are her children: Margaret Yates, Michelle (fiancé Mike O''Connor) Tate, Marsha Crawford and Brett (Pam) Crawford; grandchildren Jena (Patrick Armour) Nordman, Brandon Tate, Brittany (Derrick Slover) Tate, Ian O''Connor and Caelen O''Connor, great-grandchildren Alyssa Fares, Madison Nordman, Payton Nordman, Sophia Nordman, Lily Slover and Mackenzie Slover; sisters, Barbara Tate and Yvonne Henderson; as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maude and James Duckworth, her husband Burns; 4 brothers, 7 sisters, sister and brother in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at the Funeral Home at 10 a.m. and burial will follow at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Neva''s memory to the Alzheimer''s Association (Never Forget) or VITAS Hospice of Cincinnati, Ohio.
