Obituary for Walter R. Stenroos

Walter R. "Bud" Stenroos (1926-2013) Walter R. "Bud" Stenroos, 87, a 25-year resident of Painesville, formerly of Euclid, passed away March 6, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born Feb. 4, 1926, in Painesville, he was a World War II Marine veteran. Bud was employed by Lewis Engineering for 30 years, Rutil of America for 10 years and U.S. Molding for 10 years. Survivors are his wife of 65 years, Lois (nee Brown); children, Linda, Walter "Buddy" (Dawn) and Brian (Sharon); grandchildren, Kim (Mike), Jim, Gina (Gary), Walter Jr., Johnny (Megan), Jessi (Pat) and Brian Jr.; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Phyllis Stevens, Jean Breedlove, Gloria Hagar and Roberta (John) Dobrzeniecki; and sister-in-law, Pat Brown. He was uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Florence Stenroos; grandson, Scott Kearns; mother-in-law, Millie Brown; and brothers-in-law, Frank, Roy and Eddie. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, in the Chapel at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. >>
