Obituary for Raymond W. Lane

Raymond W. Lane (1924-2012) Raymond W. Lane, 88, of Chester Township, passed away Dec. 16, 2012. He was born Jan. 14, 1924, in Cleveland and had lived in Chester Township for the past 47 years. Mr. Lane was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked as a self-employed contractor. Survivors are his children, Ray (Bonnie), Tom (Michelle), Sue (Al) Stevenson and Tim (Carolyn); 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Robert, Donald and Roland Lane and Audrey Demore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola; and siblings, Charles Lane, Lucille Collins, and Walter, Gilbert and Gerald Lane. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
