Obituary for Frank Rose

Frank Thomas Rose II., 49 year old resident of Seymour, loving son, father, brother and uncle, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 29, 2012. He was born April 11, 1963 in New Haven, CT, son of Geneva Rose Venson of Ansonia and the late Ernest Rose. Frank did construction work at Zacharias & Associates and as a roofer at Up and Over Roofing. He attended Living Word Ministries of West Haven. In addition to his mother, he leaves to cherish his memory his son, Frank Thomas Rose III of Derby, daughter Alicia Jenner of Jacksonville, FL., brother Kenneth Jackson of Ansonia, four sisters, Gayle Tedder, Nona Rose, Tracey Rose Levey and Nicole Rose, all of Ansonia, 2 grandchildren, godchildren Jenna Conklin and Jonny Tedder both of Naugatuck, several nieces and nephews who knew him as “Uncle Frankie”, and a very special friend, Donna Brown Mccarroll of East Haven. He was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast, a diehard N.Y. Giants fan, a member of The Liberty Hall of Ansonia and the National Hot Rod Association. He was very proud of his restored 1971 Plymouth Barracuda, and attended drag races annually in Englishtown, NJ. Frankie’s warm smile and generous heart will be missed by all. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Living Word Ministries, 225 Meloy Road, West Haven, CT. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
