BEVERLY J. JONES
“Together Again”
CANFIELD – Beverly J. Jones, 84, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at her home, with her family at her side.
She was born, April 20, 1928, in New Castle, Pa., the daughter of William and Nettie Alexander.
Beverly was an active member of the Austintown Christian Temple. She enjoyed visiting and volunteering at area nursing homes, and helping those in need. She loved spending time with her family and had a great love of animals, especially for her dog, Sammy.
She will be dearly missed by her four sons, Richard (Vicky) Jones of Canfield, Donald (Joan) Jones of Austintown, Carl (Debbie) Alexander of Austintown and Joe Conti of Canfield; her three daughters, Nancy (Pete) Dimitrijevich of Port St. Joe, Fla., Darlene Alexander, of Austintown and Diane Alexander of Arizona; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Beverly was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard T. Jones, whom she married Aug. 1, 1945; two brothers, Carl and Earl Alexander; and a daughter, Virginia.
Friends will be received Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at 10 a.m.
Beverly will be laid to rest at Green Haven Cemetery.
“Love that is, will always be. Even though there is a sea parting life, and love and all.
For in the end, the sea is small. And all that was to be, will be. And all was to see, we’ll see.
And all the roads that we do trod, will be the ones that, lead to God.”
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley.
