Kenneth J. Gambatese (1952-2012)
Funeral Mass for Kenneth J. Gambatese Sr., age 59, of Munson Township, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29840 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe.
Mr. Gambatese died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at home.
Born Nov. 4, 1952, in Euclid, he had lived in Euclid and Wickliffe before moving to Munson Township 16 years ago.
Ken was a self-employed painting contractor and had served in the Unites States Marines Corps.
He enjoyed feeling the sunshine upon his face, fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his sons, Kenneth J. Jr. (Irene) and David Gambatese; daughters, Kimberly Gambatese (Wayne Roose), Kelly (James) Clark and Jessica Gambatese; eight grandchildren; one-great-grandchild; father Anthony J. Gambatese; brothers, Anthony (Frances), Robert (Sybil), Frank (Debbie) and David Gambatese; friend and former wife, Donna Gambatese.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine M. (LaConte) Gambatese in 2011.
Burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
