Marie (Switzer) (French) Hutchinson (1914-2012)
Services for Marie (nee French) (Switzer) Hutchinson, 98, of Mentor, will be 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012. Mrs. Hutchinson passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Madison Township.
Born Feb. 11, 1914, in Parkgate, Pa., she was a longtime resident of Euclid before moving to Mentor in 1979.
She was a member of Mentor Christian Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Willoughby Chapter 202 and was formerly an active bowler in senior leagues at Palisades IV in Mentor.
Mrs. Hutchinson was employed as a shipping clerk at Reliance Electric for 18 years.
Survivors are her daughter, Sandra Hanna of Madison; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Switzer; husband, Robert Hutchinson; children, Mary Elizabeth Switzer, Samuel Fredrick Hutchinson and Nancy Carol Switzer; parents; three brothers; and two sisters.
Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township, following the service Friday.
