Obituary for William Dunn
WILLIAM C. DUNN
AUSTINTOWN – Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for William C. Dunn, 79, who passed away Tuesday evening at Hospice House.
William was born Nov. 10, 1932, in Youngstown, a son of the late Stuart and Arlene (Ditzler) Dunn.
William graduated from South High School and attended Youngstown College and Ohio State University. He served in the Army during the Korean War. William was a consultant for Ply-Trim Companies. He enjoyed playing golf, watching sports and was an old movie buff.
William leaves his wife, the former Cheryl A. Peter, whom he married March 16, 1979; a son, Jeff (Jennifer) Dunn of Boardman; four sisters, Kathleen (Harry) Hoffman of Sanford, Fla., Judy (Ray) Gutierrez of Calif., LuAnne (David) Lawrence of Calif., and Diane Kurtz of California; a brother, Rudy (Teri) Kurtz of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren, Jordan L. (Ian) Bradley of Arlington, Va., Joshua and Donald Jeffery Dunn of Chicago.
William was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Dunn.
Family and friends may call Friday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers material tributes may take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley.
Entombment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens
