Obituary for Florence Marie Hulburt
FLORENCE MARIE HULBURT
AUSTINTOWN – Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Florence Marie Hulburt, 85, who died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Health Center’s E.R.
Florence was born Aug. 19, 1926, in Youngstown, the daughter of Paul and Camillia Halicki.
She had been a self employed housekeeper for several area families. She was a former member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and St. Joseph Church.
Florence enjoyed crossword puzzles, romance and mystery novels, loved to bowl and was a great cook.
Florence is also remembered for her gift of always knowing how to take care of family and friends.
Her husband, Irl F. Hulburt, whom she married July 16, 1949, died Nov. 9, 1982.
She is survived by two daughters, Christine Knight, Kathleen Hulburt and a son, John Hulburt, all of Austintown; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Stella Lakovich, Mary Larsick, Agnes Marvich, Josephine Sosnosky and Jane Krebs; and three brothers, Tony, Vince and Stanley Halicki.
