Obituary for Donna Joseph

DONNA J. JOSEPH CANFIELD – A prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Christine’s Church for Donna J. Joseph, 74, who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Donna was born June 17, 1937, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Albert and Nellie Riccitelli. She was a 1955 graduate of East High School and attended the Lewis Weinberger & Hill Beauty School. After her husband, Paul passed away, she became the sole owner of Cabinet Design Industries, Inc., which she owned and operated for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Christine’s Church in Youngstown for over 50 years and faithfully attended Saturday Mass. Her husband, Paul James Joseph Jr., whom she married on Sept. 17, 1958, passed away on Oct. 28, 1977. She was a member of the Eagles Club in Youngstown and served as past treasurer of the REACT Club. Donna leaves her two sons, Mark Anthony (Jana) Joseph of Canfield and Jeffrey Alan (Denise) Joseph Sr. of Canfield; five grandchildren, Marco, Jeffrey Jr., Maria, Nicole and Alexa; a dear brother-in-law, Ronald (Margaret) Joseph;a nephew, Ronald Joseph Jr.; and a niece, Lori Joseph, all of Boardman. Donna was also preceded in death by a son, Paul J. Joseph III, whose memory she cherished always. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren and will be especially missed by her teacup Poodle, Guiseppe. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens
