Kay F. Rupe, age 73, of Mentor-on-the-Lake passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Lake Med Nursing Home in Painesville Township.
She was born Dec. 19, 1938.
Mrs. Rupe was a homemaker. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed.
Survivors are her husband, Alan Rupe; children, Danny (Coline) Rupe of Madison and Kathy (Jerry) Langsdale of Mentor; grandchildren, Kellie (Chriss) Ritenour, Kyla (Jason) Jacobson, Caroline Rupe, and Bryan and Jacob Langsdale; great-grandchildren, Delia, Hannah, Brooke and Landon; twin brother, Roger (Joanne) Shultz; and siblings, Galen L. (Linda) Shultz, Jean (Mervin) Smith and Ethel Carper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Blaine and Elda Shultz; and brother, John Shultz.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
