Florence C. DiCintio, 1919-2012
LIBERTY - Florence C. DiCintio, 92, died at 2:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 24, 1919, in Niles, the daughter of Carmen and Angeline Vigorito Mazza.
Florence and her husband owned and operated Teddy Bears Restaurant and Bar in Liberty Township since 1959.
Survivors include a daughter, Angela Dickey, with whom she made her home; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Angeline Dudley of Austintown and Catherine Marion of Warren; and a brother, Albert Mazza of Niles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund T. DiCintio; a daughter, Lucille Shontz; two sisters; and five brothers.
A private funeral will be at Greenhaven Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow. There are no calling hours.
