Obituary for Sidney S Snyder

SIDNEY S. SNYDERE | WINCHESTER, TENN. – Sidney S. Snyder, 77, formerly of Youngstown. He passed away Wednesday morning at his home in Winchester, Tenn. Mr. Snyder was born Sept. 20, 1934, in Phillipston, Pa., a son of Chester S. and Nellie V. Chandler Snyder. He retired from Heinz Steel Company after 28 years of service. Mr. Snyder was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing and was a big Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Surviving him is his wife, the former Carol Smith, whom he married Aug. 25, 1962; a daughter, Linda Snyder of Boardman; a son, David (Laura) Snyder of Kinsman; two sisters, Olive O’Hara of Benedere, Tenn. and Dorothy Miller of New Philadelphia; and also, the joy of his life, his four grandchildren, Sidney, Emily, Hanna and Monica. Preceding him in death besides his parents, is a brother, Clarence Snyder.
