CAROL J. KRAUSE (nee Szplet), 78, of Chesterland, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2012. Beloved wife of Ted for 58 years; loving mother of Michele (Joe) Tripi, Lauren (Rich) Heinz, Nanette (Joe) Verdini, and the late Greg; devoted mother-in-law of Nancy Krause; dear grandmother of Joe (Tosh) Tripi, Jackie (Jeremy) Pfadt, Brad, Brian, Megan, Ashley, Mikey, AJ, and Erin, and great-grandmother of Natalie, Samantha, Hannah, Jackson, Tristen and Tanner; and cherished sister of Betty Schultz and the late Marian Himmelein. Graduated from Marymount High School, was a devoted parishioner of St. Anselm Catholic Church and was one of the... CAROL J. Graduated from Marymount High School, was a devoted parishioner of St. Anselm Catholic Church and was one of the founding members of the Wine and Cheese Festival. All were touched by her strength, faith, and love for life. She will be greatly missed. Funeral Mass 10 a.m., Friday, January 20, 2012, at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 12969 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland. Interment in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens.
