Obituary for Virginia Erdner
YOUNGSTOWN - Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Youngstown for Virginia Erdner, 85, who died Monday morning at her home.
Virginia was born Nov. 7, 1926, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of David and Harriett Waters Herndon.
She was a member of the church, the Saxon Club, was active in local bridge clubs and was an honorary member of the Ohio PTA.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth M. Erdner, whom she married Oct. 3, 1946; three daughters, Nancy (Richard) Coleman of Columbia Station, Bonny (Michael) Tarantino of Canfield, and Virginia (Ronald) Deuley of Lancaster; a son, Kenneth D. (Lisa) Erdner of New London, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the Zion Lutheran Church
