Obituary for Patricia Snowberger

PATRICIA JEAN SNOWBERGER CANFIELD – Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel for Patricia Jean Snowberger, 68, who went to be with the Lord Dec. 21, 2011, after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She passed away peacefully at the Briarfield Manor. Patricia was born April 2, 1943, in Wooster, Mass., a daughter of the late Roswell and Mildred (Beal) Wright and moved to Ohio in her teens. Patricia was a beautician and seamstress until her illness made it impossible for her to work. She was a member of the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in North Jackson, enjoyed crafts and camping and was a member of the MS Society. Patricia will be sadly missed by her husband, Russell G. Snowberger, and they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in May of 2012; two children, Tammy (Rob) Toti of Canfield and Russell C. Snowberger of Bradenton, Fla.; two brothers, Arthur (MaryAnn) Wright and Leonard Wright; one sister, Helen (Carl) Stager; and a granddaughter, Christa. Patricia will also be missed by her countless friends who were blessed to know her. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gethsemane Lutheran Church Organ Fund, 1110 N. Salem-Warren Road, North Jackson, OH 44451, in Patricia’s name. Patricia touched many lives with her smile and positive attitude. Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours today, Dec. 23, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel. The burial will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011.
