Obituary for Patricia Deitsch
Patricia Ann DiCenzo Deitsch
AUSTINTOWN – Memorial services will be at noon on Saturday at the Struthers Church of Christ for Patricia Ann DiCenzo Deitsch, 66, who passed away Tuesday after a long courageous battle with cancer at Briarfield at Ashley Circle.
Patricia was born Aug. 5, 1943, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Cesare and Viola (Degenero) DiCenzo.
She graduated from Girard High School in 1961 and Youngstown State University in 1963 with an associates degree in business.
Patricia worked for Hussmann Refrigeration, Union Carbide and retired from Ohio Edison.
She is survived by her partner of many years, Gary Allum; two children, Kim (Brandon) Covan of Austintown and William (Liz) Deitsch of Youngstown; one sister, Ramona (Joe) D’Eramo of Boardman; one brother, Peter DiCenzo of Brownstown, Ind.; and two grandchildren. Caden and Brylee Covan.
Besides her parents, a daughter Sherry Lynn Deitsch, preceded Patricia in death.
The family would like to thank the nurses of Hospice of the Valley and Briarfield at Ashley Circle for their care provided to Patricia.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512 in Patricia’s name.
The family will greet friends from 11 a.m. until noon on Saturday, prior to the services at the church
