Obituary for Kenneth Murray
KENNETH P. MURRAY SR
McDONALD – Kenneth P. Murray Sr. passed away Sunday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Kenneth was born in Point Marion, Pa., the son of Melvin and Beryl (Malone) Murray.
Kenneth work as a mechanic for both Martin Chevy and Pace Chevy. He was a World War II Navy veteran, and was a member of the Woodlawn United Methodist Church in McDonald.
Kenneth married Evelyn F. Steele on Nov. 28, 1947. She passed away Aug. 6, 2001.
Kenneth is survived by two sons, Kenneth P. Murray Jr. of Fowler and David Murray of Mentor; three daughters, Susanne Dutton of North Jackson, Vickie Magill of Dublin and Linda Angelo of Massilion; one sister, Lois Severs of Clark, NJ.; 14 grandchildren, Eric, Lisa, Pat, Melissa, Jennifer, Jessica, Ashley, Hannah, Chris, Jake, Alex, Maura, Marc and Kyle; and nine great-grandchildren, Anthony, Nicholas, Madison, Tommy, Trent, Devin, Gavin, Aidian and Noah.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Evelyn; five sisters; and 11 brothers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the McClurkin Funeral Home in Girard.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the McClurkin Funeral Home.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Woodland United Methodist Church in McDonald in his name.
