Obituary for James Sr Cherol
JAMES CHEROL
AUSTINTOWN –James Cherol, 78, passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 12, 1931, in Youngstown, a son of the late Roy Cherol and the late Rachel (Tomaino) Cherol. He was the husband of Hilda (Flo) Collingsworth, whom he married Aug. 6, 1960, and passed away in 2000.
Mr. Cherol was retired from the City of Youngstown, where he worked in the Street and Sign Department.
Family includes son, James Cherol of Austintown and brother Joe Cherol of Youngstown.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his father and mother; and his brothers, Anthony Cherol, Frank Cherol, John Cherol, Louis Cherol, Paul Cherol, Roy Cherol and Victor Cherol.
Calling hours will be at the Fabrizio Funeral Home, 619 E. Indianola Ave. in Youngstown on Wednesday, Oct. 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. Calling hours will also be on Thursday from 9:30 to 10 a.m.
His services will be conducted by his brother-in-law, the Rev. Morgan Miller at the Fabrizio Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m.
