Obituary for Suzanne L Duchanois

SUZANNE H. DUCHANOIS CORTLAND – Suzanne H. Duchanois, 63, and formerly of Youngstown, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, in Rome Township, Ashtabula County. Suzanne was born on June 3, 1947, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late William and Veronica (Novotny) Lallo and was a 1965 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. Suzanne worked as a Human Resource Counselor with Progressive Insurance Company. A beautician since high school, she also was the owner and operator of Wooden Naturals, where she was a skilled craft Artisan. She enjoyed crafting, flower gardening and decorating and was a member of the Cortland Women of the Moose. Suzanne attended St. Dominic Church in Youngstown, where she married her husband, John W. Duchanois on April 8, 1967, and together they would share the love of two daughters, Sheri L. (Tim) Smith of Painesville and Aimee (Paul) Stone of Madison and two grandchildren, who she enjoyed spending time with, Colin Smith and Hannah Stone. She is also survived by a brother, William (Barb) Lallo of Austintown. Besides her parents, Suzanne was preceded in death by a brother, Peter Lallo. Calling hours for Suzanne will take place on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave., Austintown, OH 44515. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church, 77 E. Lucius Ave., Youngstown, OH 44507. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church on the morning of the funeral. Burial will follow at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Canfield.
