Obituary for Richard L Terlecki

Richard Lee Terlecki ORO VALLEY, ARIZ. – The life of Richard Lee Terlecki will be celebrated with prayers being offered Saturday at 10:45 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Christine’s Catholic Church. Richard passed away at his home in Tucson, Ariz. on Saturday, March 6, 2010, after a five-year battle of cancer. Richard was born Oct. 24, 1947, the son of Leo and Irene Opsitnik Terlecki. A 1970 graduate of Youngstown State University’s School of Engineering, Richard was the Director of Plant Engineering and Maintenance for Parsons Corporation in Newport, Ind. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Tucson, and a longtime member of St. Christine’s Catholic Church in Youngstown. He was an avid golfer and long distance cyclist. Richard leaves his wife, Nancy Lasky, who were married June 20, 1970; two daughters, Mollie Brunet and son-in-law, Jeffrey Brunet of Tucson and Abby Terlecki of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and grandson, Noah Parker Brunet Tucson; sisters Mrs. Diane Diekmann of North Canton and Mrs. Marilyn Augustine of Macclesfield, N.C. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters, Kariann Marie and Jennifer Beth.
