Obituary for Frances A Maranuk

Frances A. Maranuk LIBERTY TOWNSHIP – Frances A. Maranuk, 61, died at 5 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, at her daughters residence in Niles. Frances was born May 3, 1948, in Youngstown, the daughter of Frank and Pauline Rodomsky Sipusic. A 1966 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, she furthered her studies to receive a Bachelors of Education Degree from Youngstown State University and later worked as a teacher in the Youngstown School District for 17 years. Frances was a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles, was involved with the National Education Association and enjoyed gardening and reading. She will be deeply missed by a son, Kevin Ciambrone of Niles; two daughters, Caroline Ruley and her husband, Eric of Niles and Allison Maranuk of New York City; one brother, Frank Sipusic of Niles; two sisters, Diane Murwin and her husband, Robert of Columbiana and Arleen Bailey and her husband, Steve of Florida; and a grandson, Sidney Ruley. Friends may call Monday, March 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where Mt. Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles, preceded by a 9:30 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. >>
