Obituary for Concetta M Emerson

Concetta M. Eberts-Emerson YOUNGSTOWN – Concetta M. Eberts-Emerson, 78, of 3245 Vestal Road, passed away at 6:25 a.m. on Friday, June 25, 2010, at the Omni Manor Health Center, following an extended illness. She was born in Scottdale, Pa., on Oct. 22, 1931, to Alexander and Concetta DeRosa. Concetta retired after working 15 years, as an insurance agent for American General Insurance Company. She previously worked in the cookware and china sales department for Townecraft. Years ago, she attended the Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church in Austintown and enjoyed swimming, dancing, bingo and traveling to Geneva-on-the-Lake with her family. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Paul Emerson of Niles, whom she married on her birthday, Oct. 22, 1991; two daughters, Deborah (Richard) Anderson and Cynthia Lemmon; grandson, Eric Lemmon; granddaughter, Lauren Malik, all of Boardman; two sisters, Frances Ottenburg of Doylestown, Pa., and Mary Ann Mackin of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael DeRosa and Patrick DeRosa; and a sister, Ange Fail. A memorial service will be Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Cornersburg.
