Obituary for Joseph E Seman

Joseph Edward Seman YOUNGSTOWN – Joseph E. Seman, 91, passed away peacefully on Easter, Monday evening, April 5, and is now reunited with his beloved wife, Ann, whom he missed the last six years. Joseph was born June 19, 1918, in Campbell, the son of Joseph and Veronica Seman. He was employed as a Brakeman and Conductor with P&LE Railroad, retiring in 1978. Joseph served his country with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of St. Luke Church. His wife, the former Ann Bednar, whom he married May 3, 1941, passed away Oct. 15, 2003. Joseph will always be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Ginny Gleydura of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Joanne (Mike) Brown of Chandler, Ariz.; a son, Ronald Seman of Youngstown, with whom he made his home; two grandsons, David and Tim Gleydura; five great-grandchildren, Alexis, Ashton, Michael, Jonathan and Kaitlin Gleydur; and a sister, Helen Maro of Poland. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Gleydura; a brother, John Seman; and a sister, Marge Reno. There will be funeral services at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 9, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke Church with the Rev. Joseph Fata celebrating the Mass for Joseph. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the staff at the Hospice House for the wonderful care given to Joseph
