Obituary for EVERETT E BRADFORD
Everett E. Bradford, 69, of Maxwell died of a stroke Saturday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Bradford was born in Des Moines and lived most of his life there before moving to Maxwell 12 years ago. He was retired from the US Postal Service and was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. He was a Member of Park Avenue Christian Church and Southgate Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Trudy; a son, Richard of Des Moines; a brother, Frank of Albuquerque, NM; a sister, Juanita Owen of Chandler, AZ; three grandchildren and one step-grandchild.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
