Obituary for ELEANOR LAVONNE SPARKS
Eleanor Sparks, 62, of Melcher-Dallas died of cancer Sunday at Knoxville Area Community Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mosher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
Mrs. Sparks was born in Des Moines, where she lived all her life before moving to Melcher-Dallas five years ago. She had been a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, David; five sons, Terry and Bruce both of Des Moines; David Ricky of Polk City, Brent of Slater and Gordon of Elkhart; her mother, Dorothy Smith and four borthers, Norman Smith, George Smith, Larry Smith and Jerry Smith, all of Des Moines; three sisters, Betty Wilson and Patty Rios, both of Des Moines, and Shirley Prunty of Carlisle; and 13 grandchildren.
