Obituary for WALTER EUGENE REYNOLDS
Walter E Reynolds of 1116 Madison Ave. died Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center of complications of AIDS. He was 60. Memorial services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, with private burial of the cremains in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Reynolds was born in Mitchellville and recently returned to Des Moines after living for 10 years in Irvine, CA, where he was a cosmetologist.
Surviving are his mother, Hattie Reynolds of Des Moines; two brothers, David of Des Moines and Mark of Wichita, KS; and five sisters, June Johnston of Altoona, Esther Halstead of Bozeman, MT, and Mary Brown, Nancy Baker and Susan Grimes, all of Des Moines.
