Obituary for THERESA M CARTON
Theresa M. Carton, 27, of the 700 block of Southeast Third Street, Ankeny, died of a respiratory ailment Thursday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
She was born in Des Moines and had lived in the area all her life. She had worked for Easter Seals Center and was a member of Special Olympics. She enjoyed cats and working puzzles.
She is survived by her parents, Cherie and Jimmie Carton Jr. of Ankeny; two sisters, Patti Beckwith of Des Moines and Sara Carton of Ankeny; her grandparents, Clara and Jimmie Carton Sr. of Des Moines and Barbara Dennler of Williamsburg; and a great-grandmother, Lily Miller of Ankney.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics.
