Obituary for DEE ELAINE LANG MEEKER

Dee Lang-Meeker, 31, of 1021 S.E. Delaware Ave., Ankeny, died Friday at home. The cause of death is unknown, pending a medical examiner''s report. Services will be at noon Tuesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Lang-Meeker was born in Cedar Falls and lived in Ankeny most of her life. She was a homemaker and member of Heartland Assembly of God in Ankeny. Survivors include a son, Joshua Meeker, a daughter, Nicole Meeker, her parents, Dayton and Lois Lang, and a brother Robin Hakanson, all of Ankeny; and her grandmother, Marian Goldsworth of Waterloo. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Mercy Hospital Medical Center or her church.
