Obituary for RUDOLPH H CARLSON
Rudolph H. Carlson, 84, died of a stroke Tuesday at Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 14 at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
Mr. Carlson was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service and a carpenter by trade. He served his country with the Army Airforce. He was a member of the Berwick Congregational Church.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret, a son, Richard, of Robinson, IL, two daughters, Judy (Sterns) of Des Moines and Midge (Williams) of Mandeville, LA, 12 grandchildren, `4 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Bernice Rollins of Des Moines.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 13 at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to Berwick Congregational Church or Kavanagh House.
