Obituary for GEORGE C RUTHS

Services for George C Ruths, 64, of 1437 E Twenty-third St., who died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Hamilton Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Davenport, Mr. Ruths had been a resident here about 33 years.  He was a machinist at Armstrong Rubber Co. for 17 years.

He was a member of Easton Place Methodist Church, the East Gate Masonic Lodge and the Low Twelve.

Surviving are his widow, Frances; two sons, Richard and Robert of Des Moines; his mother, Mrs. H.H. Ruths of Milwaukee, WI; two sisters, Mrs. Lynn Lewis of Milwaukee, WI and Mrs. William McCullock of Rock Island, IL; and three grandchildren.
